For those of you that often check for Apple updates using software update you may have noticed something different this time, there's actually updates to download.

Apple has released an iDVD Update and an iLife Media Browser Update. The iDVD update addresses stability and minor issues while the iLife Media browser Update also address stability it is recommended for all users running: Aperture, iLife 08, iWork 08 and OSX 10.5.6 or Later.

Don't you just hate it when this happens, you buy something new and then they release a new, better faster version of the software that was installed and to get the latest and greatest you have to pay full price? Don't worry Apple still looks out for you.

Apple today Announced their new suite of iLife products containing its, iMovie, iPhoto, iWeb, Garageband and iDVD applications with some new and interesting features. Although iLife 09 wont be shipping until late January 09, Apple has provided lists and explanations of the new features on their web-site.
